Standard Terms & Conditions

 

1. Confirmation of Dates. Once course dates or placements on courses have been confirmed all payments owed will become due.

 

2. Illness. Injury, Force Majeure. In the event of illness or some other unavoidable impediment to trainer availability, Spar Stars Ltd. reserves the right to use replacement trainers of a suitable calibre, if available at short notice. In the event that training cannot take place as agreed due to trainer illness or impediment (including impacts of a pandemic) or due to travel problems caused by hazardous road or weather conditions, Spar Stars Ltd. reserves the right to cancel the training. In this event, a new training day will be agreed. If no new training day can be agreed, a refund of the course fee will be given.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     

3. Withdrawal from Confirmed Course Dates - Refunds

Should delegates or booking organisations (e.g. Universities and Schools) withdraw from a course once confirmed, the following sliding scale of refunds will apply:

 

• Withdrawal 29+ days prior to course date: 100% of course fee will be refunded.

• Withdrawal 15-28 days prior to course date: 75% of course fee will be refunded.

• Withdrawal 8-14 days prior to course date: 50% of course fee will be refunded.

• Withdrawal up to 7 days prior to course date: 0% of course fee will be refunded.

 

4. Venue arrangements

All venue arrangements for in-house courses and expenses (e.g. at Universities and Schools) are the responsibility of the client.

 

5. Copyright and use of training material

Our courses are carefully structured and based on up-to-date research and best practice and are tailored to be context and environment specific to meet the needs of delegates.

 

The copyright of all course materials including Course Notes, Exercise Sheets, Visual Teaching Aids and Power Point presentations remains at all times the property of Spar Stars Ltd. All teaching and delegate material produced for use on our courses will be supplied by Spar Stars Ltd unless otherwise agreed. Supporting course notes and material for delegates is supplied for use as a personal reference and revision aid. They must not be used for commercial training purposes or reproduced for wider distribution within the client organisation or externally without the explicit agreement of Spar Stars Ltd.
